Microsoft released Office 365 Admin Apps for iOS and Android

Office 365 administrators will be glad to know that Microsoft released Office 365 Admin Apps for iOS and Android.

Office 365 Admin application is used to monitor Office 365 status of services from mobile devices.

Initial user response is very mixed, some applaud Microsoft for the first step taken for Office 365 monitoring, while others are outraged by lack of functionality.

Application is available for devices running Windows 8, iOS 6.1 and up and Android 3.2 and up

The Office 365 Admin mobile app empowers IT service administrators to connect to their organizations’ Office 365 service status on the go.

The Office 365 Admin mobile app enables administrators to view service health information and maintenance status updates. In addition, administrators can filter information by service subscriptions and configure app data refresh interval.

IMPORTANT: You need to have an active Office 365 subscription with administrator user rights to use this app. This app does not currently support Windows Azure Active Directory Multi-Factor Authentication.
