Google fights Microsoft, Apple with Free Quickoffice suite for IOS and Android

In a bid to lure users for a free Office suite, Google released Free Quickoffice suite for IOS and Android.

Google purchased Quickoffice about a year ago. They got a great office suite for mobile devices and great import filters, the technology they didn’t have before.

After Apple announced that their own IWork Office suite (including IPhoto and iMovie) will become free on new IOS devices, Google decided it’s time to make their suit free as well. The suite will be a great asset to all IOS users who have older devices. Quickoffice integrates with google drive enabling users to access and edit files from everywhere. By releasing Free QuickOffice, Google drive became even more attractive.

 

Users waiting for Microsoft office for IOS no longer have to wait, as they got great Office for free, from Google and Apple (on new devices)
